Voice over Wi-Fi solution for enterprise IP and legacy PBX systems
The Spectralink 8000 Portfolio wireless telephones operate on converged voice and data Wi-Fi infrastructure and significantly improve employee mobility, responsiveness, and productivity. The three lines within the portfolio, PIVOT™ (87-Series), Spectralink 84-Series and Spectralink 80-Series are the market-leading, enterprise-grade converged Voice over Wireless LAN (VoWLAN) solutions supporting SIP, proprietary VoIP, digital TDM, and analog PBX interfaces.
Spectralink's wireless telephones communicate with the customer's call control platform over a converged 802.11 wireless network. They are designed to withstand the rigors of the toughest workplace environments while providing all the feature functionality of a desk phone, including superior voice quality delivered by Spectralink VQO.
Third-party enterprise-grade access points provide unlimited coverage throughout the facility. These access points must be certified through the Spectralink Voice Interoperability for Enterprise Wireless (VIEW) program. The VIEW program ensures that the handsets and WLAN infrastructure work together to uphold Spectralink standards for the highest quality voice and enterprise-grade security.
Either directly or via a telephony gateway, Spectralink handsets interoperate with the vast majority of enterprise PBXs and call servers through analog, digital, proprietary IP and SIP interfaces. Through our Call Server Integration (CSI) program, we ensure proper interoperability and feature support.
