We are using about 25 Spectralink 8440 units with MS Lync 2013 connected to Meru wireless network. Recently we started to experience a one-way-audio problem when only one party to the call can hear.

This started to occur after the Meru controller was upgraded. Does anyone have experience with 8440s on Meru network?

Hello. I'm not sure if it's the same issue you're experiencing but we are getting an issue whereby there is an eight-second delay between answering an inbound call and being able to hear the caller (the caller can hear the 8440 user instantly). Did you manage to fix your issue?

Hello, The call delays are likely the result of call setup which is often related to QoS settings. Make certain that you've configured QoS end-to-end and have trusted the settings in the wired network. If the traffic is not trusted through the wired network then the DSCP tags will be stripped resulting the traffic being sent best effort. This can lead to queuing delays at the AP that look like call setup delays like this.
